Sail. My time on a Tall Ship

Almost a year without a post? How embarrassing! I have no excuse, but hope to regain your attention with this video I made about my time sailing aboard the schooner Bill of Rights. When you tell people you live on a tall ship they ask "What is a tall ship?" My answer is that it is basically a pirate ship. Aboard "the Bill" we take kids on week-long sailing adventures around the Channel Islands. We teach classes about science- everything from simple machines (all the sails raised by hand) to bioaccumulation. Sometimes we even sail to other places to participate in tall ship festivals. As you can imagine, tall ship sailors (I've dubbed us 'shipsters') love to get drunk and sing sea shanties. It is a fantastic adventure.
